You actually have more activations than from Deskew (it’s either Windows or Mac or pay more for dual license). The Deskew version bundles some plugins (TH-U and other freebies) but they’re more as examples than anything. You can always install the Deskew version to get those plugins. Great sound for one (but I do like the sound quality of the 9000 too), but the Amek has a really nice clipper and limiter built in which sounds nice for subtle breaking up of the sound, or getting really crunchy. It's just a very versatile strip that has more features and sounds great.
