Plugin Guru Unify $59 on Black Friday (rare)

John at Plugin Guru on his most recent Livestream (in the link below at the 42min mark) said he was going to offer Unify for $59 for the Black Friday weekend and encouraged to get the word out.  They've never reduced to $59 except for when they first introduced the product several years ago.  So I'm helping him amplify that message here.   If you don't have Unify yet, it's a heck of a lot of capability and sound capabilities for a very low price!

The included Unify factory library has a lot to offer, but these synths listed below have had their presets "Unified" so that if you own any of these synths, these presets can be added to your Unify library so that they can be opened from the Unify browser as a Unify layer with just one click, and combined with any other preset in Unify. Plug and play!!! :)

It's a host of plugins

To give more information... (I hope not be wrong because I have bought it today)

The idea behind this plugin, is combine multiple plugins giving you the possibility to create a set of new patches, combining them, modifying them, organize and manage the chains and plugins...

It's a helpful tool when you want to combine and work with multiple instruments or plugins... that is something that we all do :)

What does it do? Is it a synth?

It's a synth plugin host that comes with a factory library of 640 Patches, plus you can add your own plugins. Any preset from any plugin library that you own can be layered and/or keyboard split as a Unify layer, up to as many layers as your system can handle. That allows for some amazing combinations, with extensive MIDI control over CC parameters via macro knobs and the various included MIDI plugins.

It's not a sequencer, but is host synced, so that rhythmic patches and arpeggiated instrument layers all play together in time.

Unify can run standalone, or as a plugin in your favorite DAW. Since it can load basically any format of plugin, you can use it as a plugin wrapper to run plugin formats that your platform otherwise may not natively support.

More Unify details are listed here (scroll down)! Free demo!  https://www.pluginguru.com/products/unify-standard/

John, in a video from two years ago, says that is better to work with VST plugins unless you only have the VST3 version installed. I don't have this plugin yet. For those who have it, are there any issues working with VST3 plugins inside Unify?

I have not seen any issues with VST3. They are just being conservative.

There are a few plugins that only come as VST3, and you can use them in Unify. Even a few of the "Unified" libraries require a VST3 version of a plugin.

In the plugin scanner operations menu there is an option to "remove redundant" plugins. So you can scan for VST2 and VST3 plugins, followed by "remove redundant plugins" which will leave only the VST2 versions, plus any that are only VST3. So no duplicates that way! Neat and tidy! :)
