Attempting to use 2 Mics at the same. Project is 48Hz / 24bit but one of the Mic's is only 16bit the other Phantom Powered..
Are there USB  adapters, or a virtual way to route for this?
Hardware: MOTU (8 i/o)  + Yeti USB 16bit Mic, + XLR 48Hz Mic

working with VoiceMeeter was close, but could not figure out how to Hear the metronome without recording it.

You could try ASIOLink Pro.  This will allow you to combine all your audio devices into one virtual ASIO interface:

I can't remember off hand if it will automatically convert bit rates on the fly, but I believe it does.

Within ASIOLink, select your MOTU as your main ASIO interface. This will mean you have zero added latency on that interface. Then route the Yeti as required.

Then within Cakewalk, select the ASIOLink driver as your audio interface.

Well I'm lost...Looks like More clarification will be needed.
There are two apps ASIOLink Tool and ASIOLink Trial (how to get product key?)
Also looks like Latency is 25ms
If within Cakewalk, ASIOLink driver is audio interface, Where exactly will the headphones need to be to hear anything?
Currently Headphones are connected to MOTU. and in Cbb a signal can be seen, but no way to hear it with ASIOLink driver.

  1. install ASIO Link
  2. install ASIOLink Patch (fixed droputs)

ok, some progress, getting MOTU Hardware input 1 /2

  1. why would 2/3 and 7/8 not have connections?
  2. How to select and route the Yeti Mic to ASIOLink?

haha, yea, i'm lost!
