Keyboard shortcuts not binding

  I wrote about this once before where I assign a key to the Record function, bind it,  Check "Save Changes for Next Session", and then Save it but don't see that key binding next time I open Cakewalk.   I thought the problem might be that I needed an newer update but even (finally) with a newer version I still seem to have the same problem.  This is an older PC using Win 7 but the version seems to be working fine and up to date now.

  I have a pedal that has this particular key assignment so I can do punch ins easily.

  If I'm doing something wrong please tell me.  Every time I restart Cakewalk and go to Preferences/Keyboard Shortcuts my key assignment from the last session is not there anymore.  If I export first and then import the bindings I do indeed see it again.  I would like to have this keyboard assignment during every session.

Workspaces can save keyboard layouts. You either want to save your current Workspace so it keeps the keybindings or go and untick that in the Manage Workspaces menu.

The saving with Workspaces seems to work fine.  I don't see it saving the bindings with that checkbox unticked.  It's okay because I only need this with my usual 4 workspaces.
