Iron Keys 0 Posted July 3, 2019 Are there any good free drum samplers out there I can obtain for use with Cakewalk ??? Ideally something where you can load in your samples and adjust pitch, trim the tails (with no clicks n pops) etc. Multiple outputs.
gnips 39 Posted July 3, 2019 I use Sitala, free and simple to use. 2
abacab 5,946 Posted July 3, 2019 That Sitala looks interesting! It does offer tuning, and shaping of the attack, length, and sustain. Typically the 3rd party drum samplers that I have seen that would meet all of the requirements of the OP are commercial software. The best overall free sampler that I know of is TX16Wx, but it's oriented to a keyboard layout, rather than drums. https://www.tx16wx.com/
Iron Keys 0 Posted July 3, 2019 Thanks I will definitely check out both. And like @abacab said, most usable samplers for drums seem to be commercial. Not even looking for anything fancy, wanna load some hits, have each on own output.
Eve Ripper 46 Posted July 15, 2019 I would recomend TX16WX. It is a sampler, not designed for drums, but it's like an old hardware sampler. Put waves into zones, check out groups, use it with a step sequencer built in Cakewalk. It's the best one.
