Did you ever give any more thoughts to updating it? I'm personally happy with the way it works now. Just finishing a Tutorial about it and I most certainly learned a lot more about it in the process. I think it's a feature more people would use if they realized some of the options like transferring between projects and selecting what gets recalled.
