Please allow custom, per VST, controller names, not just numbers as they appear in the controller lanes PRV.

Yes, I know this can be done globally. We can also have custom names for external synths via ins files.

However, it would be nice if we could have the ability to rename controllers as they appear in the PRV for the many VSTi plugins available( they no longer necessarily have to follow the GM standard).

And don't tell me to “just use automation and name those”.  Many of us still use controllers as they provide more flexibility for MIDI editing.
