Freyja Grimaude-Valens 265 Posted June 20, 2019 I decided to try something new, which is to make a song based on loops, leaning heavily on pitch-shifting tools and the Textured Guitars and Action Drums loop packs from the RMX Sampler Pack by Nine Volt Audio. I also used the SCVA Electronic Drum Kit to add some accents. This already sounds good as is, but I plan to develop this track more with composed synth instruments. Also, suggestions are welcome. emeraldsoul 1,159 Posted June 22, 2019 I dig the groove, and that second bass tone that comes in, very cool. The perc is all over the place, in a very good way. Hope you are thinking about some lyrics? That was a very engaging listen. cheers, -Tom
Douglas Kirby 545 Posted June 23, 2019 That was a cool groove and listen overall. Thanks for posting.

kloon 76 Posted June 24, 2019 Lovely! Great energetic groove and flow. My ears detect a couple of major/minor chord collisions, but nothing too serious. Great work!
bjornpdx 626 Posted June 25, 2019 Lady FT I'm listening through headphones while loitering at Starbucks this morning. You could go in a whole lot of directions with that energetic background track including vocal. I like your choice of pad type instruments which seems to be in direct contrast to the background. My only suggestion is to bring up the volume of the instruments on top and give them more separation. Sounds like everything is in the middle to me.
antler 658 Posted June 26, 2019 Great tune LadyFuzztail. Lots of energy and movement, with percussion filling in many sonic gaps. I enjoyed that!
