Eric Wales 0 Posted May 19 Hi. Can anyone tell me what this message is about? It pops up all the time and no matter what I click, it just comes back! Thanks..
Tim Smith 473 Posted May 19 For some reason Cakewalk does not see the "AC Interface". If you are not using this interface as a midi input I would delete it from the list of midi devices or select another device.

It means exactly what it says: Cakewalk thinks you have an audio and/or MIDI controller called "AC Interface," and the OS is reporting to Cakewalk that it's been disconnected. How many interfaces/USB MIDI devices do you usually have connected? Do any of them have a name that relates to "AC?"
msmcleod 3,382 Posted May 20 This message is in response to Windows telling Cakewalk this MIDI device has been removed. If it's coming up repeatedly, then it could indicate one of the following: A dirty USB connection ( clean your USB connections - I normally use contact cleaner, or WD40 ) A faulty USB cable ( try another cable ) An out of date driver for your device ( update the drivers if it has any ) A fault in the device itself... in which case it might need replacing
