I go through phases every now and then when I like to rewatch all those Maiden shows and docs, these included. They're among my favorite musical documentaries. Fascinating to see how Harris kept those detailed diaries, too. Back when I got into heavy metal, in the little twon where I lived, Behind the Iron Curtain and Video Pieces were pretty much the only metal music VHS you could rent. Then Live After Death came out. I guess that made the visual aspect of the band very important for us, even though I never got to see them.
