I generally name mine after a song I used it in, that way I will know it's suitable for similar projects. I do a lot of re mixing old projects and my workflow has changed a lot over time. It doesn't take that long to bring old projects up to speed. But I defiantly use different effects and instruments now, and using those pre sets I custom made is certainly a big time saver.
