When stopping playback, how to return to where playback started?

chamlin

Question

Sorry, been so long since I recorded and edited that I forgot the setting to make Cakewalk's now time go back to where I started playing a track. For clarity, if I start playback at 1:20 and go to 1:50 --- when I hit stop, I want the now time to go back to 1:20. Thanks!

Ctrl W toggles spar bar behaviour.  It will toggle between space bar stopping where you are at and returning to where you started.

Ooh!

Thanks to you and scook, I'm back in the flow! Much gratitude

All the keyboard shortcuts are one click away in the help menu. But I guess that's just me who would think to open the help menu when I have a question about software I'm using. No offence intended I only stating this here so that others who read this post will learn to look there first.

Everything you need to know about Cakewalk- This is found right above here in the Cake walk by Bandlab Tab.

https://bandlab.github.io/cakewalk/docs/Cakewalk Reference Guide.pdf

Then there are a lot of great tutorials for those who don't know how too read.

https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/

And generally if you Google your question you will have an answer immediately.
