Agreed Simon, EzKeys 2 is the one that really needs the update. It'll be interesting to see what ED3 can do, I still find ED2 works pretty well for my needs. Upgrade pricing is a tad ambitious but I guess they reckon most will cough for it.

Andy

I started to read through all the posts but I couldn't get by this one. At this point I don't think I would(or wood ?) be interested even if  Viagra2  is released with it.

There is no way I won't get EZD3 but I am really disappointed it cut in line ahead of EZKeys2.

Given that EZD3 is being released this year, I am going to forecast that there is a zero percent chance that EZKeys2 will come out this year. Historically Toontrack has not had the resources to produce two major platform updates in one year.

giving that everything looks like (EZD , EZB ect ...) We can expect EZkeys to be next imho just be patient it seems that they found their framework ;)

Not a fan of this update , it's dope for people that wants groove and already done grooves , but for guyz like me , i would loved a more superior drummer feel when it comes to kit customisation  , having to pay for superior drummer just for that is a bummer ...here since i don't care about the kits .

Talking kits the tight kit in EZD 3 is exellent to my ears ...

Agreed here too.

I think they are moving in the right direction. It would not surprise me if EZK came out towards end of summer or in time for Christmas.

Not really the grooves, but the ability to edit them and turn them into what I want/need is a big plus for me.

As far as kits go ZO, I want something that already sounds good that I ain't got to work on too damn much. So the EZ'r the better!!

Now all they need to do is come up with a way to really integrate/import/export the chords between EZKeys or EZBass.

Export from EZ Keys (or EZ Bass). Drag and drop or import to the other. Kind of easy.

Yes, this is easy. But as I was saying, the ability to make a change in EZK and have that change show up in EZB and EZD would be fantastic!!

Like Orb and Izotope programs do. They can 'talk' to each other.

Yes, but it’s Toontrack, not Toontalk

Even after I made the conversion to their new setup under new ownership I lost access to my ziljian cymbals.

You should be able to get access them. If you sign into your account at bfddrums.com, check your products, if they are listed there, and have a serial number beginning with BF (that is listed on the bfddrums site, not your original serial), then you should be good to go. If not message Drew with your original serial, requesting a new one, and he will fix you up. If you have them installed from before InMusic, thats ok, so did I, if not as long as you have the installation files saved.

I don't know what all the trouble is people are having, I have 59 expansions, all are working fine, including the Zildjian's., and the trouble people are having with auth, they seem to be trying to sign into the LM/InMusic all the time, I don't sign in to anything (after I'm set up and running) and have no issues.

I think you've been lucky - lots of people having all kind of issues and I randomly lost all my authorisations a couple of days ago, despite them being refreshed a few days earlier.  Lots of promises of fixes but progress is painfully slow or non existent.  They have had over a year to sort this out.

I also question why you have to register on a forum, make enough posts to enable the PM function, then message a random member of staff to be able try to get support.  Why can't regular support fix this ?

Inmusic tend to be the place where software goes to die and at this stage I see nothing to suggest that BFD is any different, despite Drew's efforts.  Anybody buying into BFD needs to be aware of that........it's a real shame

That's 21st century software ! 😄

No sincerly, I feel that a lot of software from medium and large companies got definitely worse in the last 7-10 years! For each fixed bug there are 2 new ones, the software gets slower and requires much more space. Where is the improvement for the customers?
