Removing a range of unwanted notes from a MIDI file

I was having a problem where duplicate midi notes (or ghost notes) with low duration were clipping my intended performance notes. This problem has been driving me crazy for a long time. I realize the cause of the problem is setting the input midi channel to omni. Once I changed this I stopped getting duplicate notes. I did not want to delete a good take and start over, so instead I right clicked on the section of events in the track and selected (process effect -> Midi Effects -> uncategorized -> Midi Event Filter). When the tool came up I selected the "Notes" check box and set the minimum duration to 25 by typing that number into the box. I then saved the setting as "Ghost Notes" so I can use it with other clips. The other thing I had to do because of the long duration duplicate notes was select the clip and use (Process -> Run CAL) and when the script window came up I selected the Undupe script and it fixed dynamic issues caused by the duplicate notes.

I hope someone searching this issues finds this helpful!!!
