ADSR Sample Manager updated to 1.7.2

This was actually released in Sept 2021 but I missed it and a number of previous updates.
I checked this forum for a mention and the most recent one I could find was "ADSR Sample Manager updated to 1.5.2" so I figure maybe others missed it as well...

Now that the free version of Loopcloud doesn't allow you to update your own sample library is this a better option for sample audition and management? I've stayed on an old version of Loopcloud but it no longer integrates with the DAW. A shame as I have 'favourited' hundreds of sample in Loopcloud

It works very well for a freebie. One annoying feature is it sometimes greys out folders if you update content.

That you for this.  Ever since Steven posted this thread, I was trying to remember why I didn't get along with ADSR.  When I ditched Loopcloud after they crippled the program, I went on a "sample manager hunt."  I tried most of them, and liked ADSR the best of the freebies, but it would ALWAYS gray out folders after they were updated.  I just couldn't remember this.

I ended up with Sononym which is OK, but is awfully slow with large sets of samples.

So if if I added a new folder of samples to my master sample folder it would not be accessible? Sounds like a major flaw if so!

It is a major flaw. I don't know if the master folder is affected, but if you add new folders to subfolders, the subfolder gets greyed. The bug has been reported numerous times but still exists in the latest version. This is too bad, because if it were not for the bug ADSR would be THE sample manager for me.

To clarify, this glitch is not crippling. The solution when it happens if to delete the folder and then add it again. It just sucks you have to rescan again

It is a major pain if you have a lot of samples and large folders. I really don't know why they haven't squashed this bug yet. It is pretty prevalent.
