I'm one of the happiest cakewalk user but recently i experienced dropouts frequently.....even my computer is getting slow.....i dont know why....this happens only in one particular project......it just has 25 tracks ( including instruments and audio tracks )...... My Hardware: 8gb ram, Behringer um2, and its own spefific driver(not asio for all as it isn't compatible with cakewalk) Would really appreciate if somebody helped..... scook Posted December 30, 2021 Share Posted December 30, 2021 Unfortunately, the Behringer UM2 is a poor choice for DAW use as it lacks a proper driver. 8 GB may be an issue. It depends on the project. Dropouts generate a toast message with diagnostic information along with a link to the help with recommended actions. Whenever you use internet Explorer all your browsing history remains in the depths of your PC. ... Install a solid state drive. ... Get more hard drive storage. ... Stop unnecessary start ups. ...
