Chat not working.

Hi all, 

I recently joined the Bandlab app and am having a little problem. 

If I press on 'feed' or try to respond to a message I've received, firstly the little time circle thing turns forever and eventually says 'unable to start chat'. What can I do about this and there are people who want to connect with me but I'm unable to respond?

By the way, I'm trying this through my android phone. Haven't tried with the laptop yet.
