I'm familiar with the general operation as I use mxxx quite a bit which has helped with orientation - but there's a ton of new stuff in here that looks crazy powerful. I've played around mpowersynth before and not been overly blown away as it always sounded a bit too "digital" to me, but just strapping a distortion effect between oscillator and filter in msoundfactory is giving me a much more satisfactory starting point.
