John Vere 1,496 Posted November 17, 2021 (edited) Here is the list of all my Cakewalk Tutorials. As I produce new ones they will be added to this list and posted at the bottom of the thread. This is a Course Style Tutorial Series. Watch in sequential order for best results. Otherwise you might have missed a lesson that will leave a hole in your knowledge of Cakewalk. These are made to be easily understood by people who have never used a DAW or audio equipment before. I try and cover every detail and I do a lot of background research to make these as up to date and accurate as possible. If anyone finds an error or if I miss important information, please let me know. I'm always learning myself and often will find better workflows as time moves on. So as I do, I will make new videos. If you have any requests for topics please post them here. I really do appreciate any feedback as it always helps me improve what I’m doing. My use of Cakewalk is focused on writing and recording Original Songs as well as creating backing tracks of Cover Tunes for live performance. I don't use Audio or Midi loops. I'm a musician so I play all my parts. Therefore this series will be of the most interest to people with a similar workflow. There are plenty of great tutorials on how to use loops like by @Xel Ohh my wed site: https://sites.google.com/view/cactus-studios/cakewalk-tutorials My You Tube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIImmMf5qdvYsgRLQvlZlFA Here are the links you can easily copy and paste into threads. Jacques Boileau 1,122 Posted November 17, 2021 Nice work John. Hopefully it will help bring new user to Cakewalk.
John Vere 1,496 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Thanks @Jacques Boileau I appreciate the feedback. Just posted “the Inspector “ tutorial today. You can see I’m in the process of totally revamping my Channel with a new look and I even figured out how to change the name to Cactus Studios BC instead of what it was. Steep learning curve for not only digging deep into Cakewalk but learning how to become advanced on Movie Studio, OBS and You Tube. Pathfinder 36 Posted December 2, 2021 John Your videos are great and it is so kind of you to do this. As you probably know, I have been here (CW user) for a long time. Back in the days of the old forums, Glennbo and the rest. I still find your videos helpful and very well done Thank You Pathfinder, Stratman68 aka Frank 🙂
John Vere 1,496 Posted December 3, 2021 (edited) Hey thanks for the positive feedback, I need it. And Now I recognize your handle as the former Stratman68! Good to see you’re still around. This community goes way back for many of us, doesn't it. My views count is pretty slow to grow . I've been watching dozens of videos about how to improve things and I’m optimistic that at some point these will catch on. This one here is for a different series so therefor it's number 101 and right away its growing faster. This series will bring new users to Cakewalk as I demonstrate gear and plug ins but using Cakewalk. I’m even making how to improve audio for video tutorials Edited December 4, 2021 by John Vere 2
