I am a big fan of Modwheel's The Lowdown, but they rarely have sales.  This started out as a library with a lot of odd bass articulations and noises, and then they updated it with an excellent pizzicato and bowed bass.   I really like the sound of the regular bass, and then it comes with all that other stuff.  I know these aren’t discounted yet but it’s good to know what the best stuff is

This is what I always used until I got Trilian.

Listened to the demos, got excited then "full Konkat required" came into play.

This year is pretty simple buy what suits my fancy.

Also, I picked up a PA $250 voucher that I hop will get me from 7-10 items of theirs I don't already have. Truthfully it's getting slim pickings over there for me. Got all the good stuff over the last 10 months or so for decent prices.

The master plan: Make as much as I can from stock investing so that I can get every plugin and library on sale

Jokes aside - My plan is

1) review this forum and Reid's list and get all the "no brainers" I don't already have.

2) get Avid support plan renewals if they go on sale

3) head over to producerplanet.com and see if there are nice deals for the vouchers I still have,

4) get the Cherry Audio Year Three collection if it is released and on sale

5) keep an eye out for sales of chickensys translator

6) keep checking the KVR trade forum during December and January to see if there are any good "buyers remorse" deals

The only thing I’m looking for is “Legacy of Rock” (and EZBass midi six pacs). Hopefully, I will complete all the work accumulated on the current road trip; then I can/will? hunker down and truly “learn” the far too many VST &VSTi I already own. I keep promising myself I will “thin the herd”. I did just that with studio hardware, now can I repeat the process with software?

stay tuned....

I've made a wishlist containing some 20 plugins/preset packs/sample packs ranging from € 10 - 350 (discounted), averaging at around 100. I included stuff like Arturia's V-Collection, Omnisphere and a huge Spitfire sale, so if I leave them out, that halves the average to €50. I've kept track of previous sale prices for all my wishlist items. If they do not at least match those discounts, I'm not buying. If they do, I'm buying. Worst financial case, I'm down €2000 but with an empty wishlist. So that would give me a very cheap 2022, right? Right guys? I'm serious...
