Activation required. Saving is disabled until you activate Cakewalk.
Насколько я понимаю, мне надо найти  Help > Refresh Activation. Я только не знаю, где это находится. Подскажите, пожалуйста.

I have an account at https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk. I have Cakewalk by BandLab installed. But now I cannot resume work in it and create new phonograms, because the message Activation required appears. Saving is disabled until you activate Cakewalk. As far as I understand, I need to find Help> Refresh Activation. I just don't know where it is. Tell me please.

Если версия относительно новая, в меню "Помощь" есть соответствующие пункты ("Войти в BandLab", "Основить активацию" и т.д.).

Если версия старая, проще обновить через BandLab Assistant https://www.bandlab.com/products/desktop/assistant
Если он сам обновиться не может, проще его заново установить загрузив с указанной страницы.

После подключения к BandLab (через меню "Помощь") Cakewalk будет ре-активироваться сам (разумеется если есть подключение к интернету).

Yes, there are many sites about Sonar/Cakewalk in Russian. F.e. http://sonarmusic.ru/forum/index.php

Yes, Sonar/Cakewalk is originally US software with English as primary language.

But... I don't think there are sufficient users/supporters to have "International" sections on this forum. English is not the language most people on this planet know. Cakewalk's current "home" has 4 official languages and national language is not English.

So, as I also wrote several times, in case 1-2 threads are not in English, I don't see that as a problem. Till these threads are spammed by statements "write in english".

Just imagine one day coming to this site you see "Bahasa Melayu sahaja"  and  every other related site is in native for the owner language.

If a question is asked in Russian and Russian is my native language... Why the hell should I answer it in English??? 🤪

As I wrote many times, please users write in english, so everybody can ubderstand the topics.

i don't ubderstand  what you mean

this is the global forum for cakewalk, users can post in whatever language they like, although they might miss on some feedback from users who can't do google translate

however if a user can respond in that user's native tongue, then why not?

Third - you can go on your local russian forums

If that is written to me, I think that violates the spirit (and may be community rules) of this forum.

BTW my forum is in English, but I explicitly accept questions in languages I know. Everyone is free to define own rules on own resources. If you have a link which explicitly or implicitly FORBID other languages on this forum, please post it. I am not aware about such restriction and I am ready to apologize in case it exists.

It is not so simple to find forum rules. I somehow remember on old forum there was some. https://blog.bandlab.com/community-guidelines/ does not mention any language (but has "Respect" section...).

I live in Grand Forks BC. We have a huge Russian population here. The alphabet uses different letters sort of the same as Greek.
When we were in Greece I could actually read the signs because of my understanding of the caricatures.
Canada is very multi cultural and although English is the main language  you certainly need to respect other dialects. In My community hearing Russian is sort of a day to day thing  just like hearing Spanish in LA
Personally I can not even understand what some people ask in English because they have zero language skills these days. 😕

I admire anyone that understands more than one language. I wish I did. I consider it a personal short coming on my part that I don't. This forum is for anyone that uses Cakewalk. Not everyone is a an English speaker. Thus as long as a member can answer in the language a question is asked in I think it would be great if we that are limited by having only one language be a little more tolerant.

For the rest of us there are solutions for translating if we wish to do so.  I have noticed many helpful members supply a translation often.  That should be enough.
