TL;DR the workaround I came up with back then: freeze the track normally but then set the track interleave to stereo. Thanks BF... Good thought. That's how I've been working. The output and input selections are stereo, but the interleave is mono... 3db bump SupD3 does not offer mono outputs so anything done is always converting the stereo to mono hence the bump...
