Which is EXACTLY what I said...PRICE PAID ($199.99)...not retail value. You are technically correct... It's based on the PRICE of the product as sold (which is what I was referencing in response to his question), and not the RETAIL of the product. In this case the retail price of the product was $299.99, and the crossgrade is $199.99. If you buy the crossgrade your freebies will come in at the $199.99 level. Even if you paid $5 for the $199.99 crossgrade, you TECHNICALLY PAID $199.99, and your freebies come in at $199.99. May as well pick Amp5 SE because I really want the added features." However, some brilliant person outlined the Gear Credits/Jam Points scheme and now I think I can afford the $200 level as well. He picked some things he already owned and IKM support unpicked them for him. Not sure my case is similar but it would be worth a try I guess.
