Byron Dickens 1,553 Posted June 2, 2021 Which instruments did you buy?
noynekker 445 Posted June 2, 2021 Did you install Steinberg License Manager ? Think there's a repair option, also, I believe you have to properly register the license for it to work properly.
abacab 7,307 Posted June 2, 2021 I don't think Halion Sonic SE comes with any content unless you are running Cubase Elements.
Byron Dickens 1,553 Posted June 2, 2021 That is correct.
John Vere 1,666 Posted June 2, 2021 And you end up with that Generic Driver that you have to delete in the Registry.. I have Cubase 5 so I have Halion and it's not much different than TTS-1. Just a little bit better effects which is easy to rectify with TTS-1 audio tracks. I have never managed to access it in Cakewalk. Haven't tried very had 😜
Byron Dickens 1,553 Posted June 19, 2021 I use HalionSonic SE quite successfully in CbB with the HaLion Symphonic Orchestra and a couple of other things.
David A Ludwig 12 Posted June 24, 2021 I run multiple instances of Halion 6. You do need to use the Steinberg download manager.
Byron Dickens 1,553 Posted June 24, 2021 It looks like the OP is gone. Hasn't been back since starting this thread.

I was stuck on it for a while after installing Cubase Pro on a new computer. On the previous computer it worked because I first used elements before upgrading. After you said that I went to the Cubase Elements section of the download assistant and found it. This is so stupid that a cheaper version of the product comes with something the more expensive one doesn't 🙄
