@PavlovsCat I decided to bite re your comment about coffee over in that other thread :D

So .. from Ireland and available online .. some real nice bargain JOE :D

From my home town ( Cork city ) - https://corkcoffeeroasters.ie/shop/  and https://badgeranddodo.ie/coffee/

Then from Waterford - https://coffeehouselane.ie

Tried all these and get them weekly, yum

Here is a nice list of top Irish Coffee Roasters all available online -

 https://thegloss.ie/the-five-best-irish-roasted-coffees-you-can-order-now/?v=d2cb7bbc0d23

So .. specially for you @PavlovsCat

And of course post good ground coffee available online from your area .. Why not, because when we are creating music using CAKEWALK surely cups of Joe are also involved

Ditto That 🍻

Tri-tto that!  It's usually in the evenings when I'm working on music, so more beer than coffee for me...  🍺

Now, back to the thread topic.  Sorry!  😁

Although, we have found a coffee we like enough to order regularly...

Yip @mibby .. as I said I am also partial to the IPA craft beers especially at weekend .. helps creativity sometimes :D

Here in Ireland last few years the craft beer indie micro brewery's have really taken off. And the pandemic has really brought them into there own via ONLINE PURCHASE and Delivery of cases of these beers ( mixed or same ).

Few of them have also gone GLUTEN FREE ( for my wife in this case ) like a brewery near me called STAG BAN ( White Deer in Irish pronounced stag bawn )

https://www.9whitedeer.ie

And also the 8 Degrees craft beer .. mad flavours .. yum!!

Off you go :D .. any of the links above sell online and ship :D ( though some may only be within IRL :( )

That 8 DEGREES beer is mad stuff. As i mentioned they have huge variety with crazy flavours. One of them is "sour"/bitter .. very unusual, but I love it :D

"full on bitterness with a deliciously juicy citrus bite"

@bluzdog But then you have this too :D - https://shop.westcorkdistillers.com/ie/irish-whiskey - the real stuff :D

Kind of pointless if you are a whole bean snob.

Yep.

Grind my own.

Local coffee that I grew up with.

Community Coffee

Been around for years. If you drink coffee, and have never smelled fresh coffee being roasted.... man, your missing out big time!! Here in Baton Rouge we have a bridge over the Mississippi River. Under that bridge is the Community Coffee roasting building. When they are roasting and you pass over the bridge... the fragrance is unbelievable!!!

Personally, I MUCH prefer the smell of freshly ground coffee to the "roasting smell".  I think I prefer the smell of freshly ground coffee even to the taste of it! 🤪

This is one of the things I love about this community. I can make a stupid off-topic remark and instead of someone ripping on me for going off-topic, somebody starts a new thread where we all go off-topic!

Still my favorite music making related forum.

I agree! The community here is so much more friendly, civilized, laid back, mellow, easy going, less likely to take offence, well you get the picture. I still find it amusing that while this is "discuss.cakewalk.com", 99% of the content I consume here is unrelated to cakewalk in any real way. Well I guess cakewalk can use plugins.

Yeah, I actually use Cakewalk, which makes me feel like I'm in the minority!
