kday Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 When opening a new project Cakewalk, it displays the message then gets stuck saying [Opening Project "Loading FX SPACE" ] and the other message says [VST Scan - Scanning Waveshell9-VST3 11_x64.vst3 ] even though the programs seems to load. reginaldStjohn Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 Doesn't seem that a fix is needed unless when you say stuck, it never ever goes away, You can disable scanning VSTs on start up in the preferences. Otherwise, on startup Cakewalk will scan for new plug-ins. Waveshell is a special VST plugin that wraps all waves plug-ins so it has to scan it each time to see if anything has changed.
