Right now, the duration of a copyright is something like 75 years after the death of the author. Every so often they are lengthened, so that Disney can keep its copyrights forever.  Copyrights should be shortened.

What are you looking to steal?

I think the issue i have with copyright laws is it allows people who never even knew the artist to sponge off of legacies in ways that are questionable. I just saw that the trendy brand Supreme is selling hideous "Love Supreme" clothing with Coltrane's image.  I can't say for sure John would have said no, but the fact that there is no way to even guess makes this questionable as to whether simply sharing DNA 60 years later is any more valid than public domain.

If you mean what should be written, start with something like this...
© [Date], [Name]. All songs are copyright control.  The copyright in these sound recordings is owned by [Name]. They may not be copied or modified and used for trade or personal purposes. All Rights Reserved.
