Saviour Music Posted March 12, 2021 Share Posted March 12, 2021 Peace and respect: Im new to cakewalk, so pardon my ignorance. When I load cakewalk and it's scanning my VST plugins, It continuously gets stuck on this Scan (CBSProducstInfo.dll), and will not move forward. Even if I click out out it, the software stops loading VST's all together. Has anyone else experienced this? And is there a solution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scook Posted March 12, 2021 Share Posted March 12, 2021 Is CBSProductsInfo.dll a VST plug-in? It does not sound like one. The scanner should only be used with folders containing VST plug-ins. Nigel Mackay Posted March 13, 2021 Share Posted March 13, 2021 (edited) If the dll is with other VSTs move it. If it is an a folder that doesn't have VSTs, remove that folder from your scan path. Don't forget, Cakewalk scans sub-folders, so watch out for that. CBS Products is cable installation.
