How to set the speed of horizontaly wheel-scrolling? (on PRV)

LeoSpit

Question

This isssue below is happening just on PianoRollView, in the Track View it is just normal, very smooth.

So, in the PRV:  When I use wheel-scrolling to zoom pane (holding CTRL), the speed is just fine, it's all good.
but when I use wheel-scrolling to zoom horizontaly (holding ALT), the speed is just WAY too much. I would love it to be smooth.
Any way I can config this? (my wheel-scrolling outside cakewalk is just normal, the issue is not my mouse at all - and as I mentioned in the beggining, this issue does not happen in the Track View, using ALT + Wheel-scrolling )

My PRV and track pane scroll at the same speed. I would imagine that if there was a setting it would affect all views.

If there is a setting, I would consider slowing down globaly, since I use the PRV a lot

There is the Mouse Wheel Zoom Option with the Zoom Factor in the track pane
but it does not affects the PVR... very strange
tbh, the horizontal zoom even if I click in the "zoom in/out horizontal" regular button (low below), it does not return to the same place, I think this is broken or messed up...

The View, Options, Tracks, ... is for the track pane.

The PRV has its own View, Notes, Controllers, ... buttons. Just doesn't have that setting in its menus.

Re-install Cakewalk maybe? Fairly painless operation.

No, it's not a bug or related to such.

I believe what's in discussion, is that it scrolls aggressively, when using the scrollbar.

By holding CTRL this action can be controlled. What it can't do is center the notes/information in the PRV.

@Will_Kaydo OP specifically states using mouse  wheel.

@LeoSpit This is the default setting for the track pane.

Maybe your Zoom Factor: Horizontal is set much lower than 1.5, so the PRV seems faster?

Yeah, my bad.

It's actually the same here.

Apologies.

Unfortunately, the changes in the Zoom Factor of the  Mouse Wheel Zoom Options  it's not aplying on my PRV   (it does apply on the track pane though)
I think its a bug... maybe I will reinstall as someone mentioned

It is not supposed to affect the PRV.

1) Set Zoom Factor: Horizontal to 1.500.
2) Play with the zoom speed in the track pane.
3) Change Zoom Factor: Horizontal to 0.200
4) Zoom in and out in track pane. Compare it to the way it was in 2)
5) Change Zoom Factor: Horizontal to 3.00.
6) Zoom in and out in the track pane. Compare it to how it was in 2) and in 4)
7) Zoom in and out in the PRV. Is it closest to 2), 4) or 6)?
