Lanes become empty in Comping mode

Hello,
I am using Cakewalk for some weeks and I enjoy it very much.
I am using Record Mode ‘Comping’ a lot, but… why is it that sometimes a former recorded lane becomes ‘blank’ when recording a new lane ?
What is it that I am doing wrong… ?

it looks like a muted waveform is there in the circle. read up on how to use the comping tools and you should be able to unmute/unarchive/etc whatever mode that take is in and use it.

Yes, that looks like a muted clip.  Use the Mute tool to un-mute it. The comping should not mute it like that. It most likely was accidently done by hitting a shortcut key to mute the clip.

Hi Glenn and Reginald, thanks for the responces !
The lanes are not muted. The only way to recover the sound is to undo the current recording(s), otherwise the content is lost.
By the way, this happens occasionally. Next time I have that isue, I will try to make a more complete screenshot.
