Audacity as a Utility in Cakewalk Bandlab

Recommended Posts

Audacity como um utilitário no Cakewalk Bandlab Seria possível usar o Audacity como um utilitário no Cakewalk da mesma forma que no Sound Forge? Como configurar o regedit se possível?

The Type field is wrong for an audio editor.

For an audio editor the Type must be WaveEditor (note there is no space between Wave and Editor)

This tells CbB to add the wave file name to the command line when launching the program.

CbB does not pass the wave file when Type is set to Generic.

As I mentioned after your post

AFAIK Audacity will not work.

Audicty is not strictly a wave editor, it is a DAW. Most DAWs use a proprietary project format as their principle document type.

They do not accept a wave file on their command line. This is needed for CbB to treat a program as a WaveEditor type.

The tools copy works fine in Wave Lab, Sound Forge and Gold Wave for me. Audacity would be my last pick as a wave editor.
