cclarry 13,571 Posted January 10 Be advised that there is another page of freebies besides the Unified 2020 Freebies installer Click "Next Page" at the bottom of the first page

Plus if you download any free player compatible instruments (like NI's YANGQIN Holiday freebie out now) you get an even deeper discount. It's a no-brainier value when you consider It's HUGE library and the RIDICULOUS!!!! amount of freebie for it...Just saying. 4
paulo 2,138 Posted January 10 I wonder what the huge painos sound like?😀
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 10 I've only tried a few in the first "Bundle" download and they're ok. Obviously nothing spectacular, but they're ok. Haven't installed the bigger ones yet, which was what I was really interested in! I'll get there later! 2
Topcheese 55 Posted January 10 Nice find, but I only get errors on the installers.

Doug Rintoul 215 Posted January 11 Don't bother with the "Big Ones". The installer does not work for any of the ISOs.
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 (edited) I just installed Dark Horse with no issues... Don't install the Visual C++ Libraries...and it should install without any issue you shouldn't need them anyways... Will try installing Colors of Punjab next, which is the largest one of the bunch... Topcheese 55 Posted January 11 It never asked to install any libraries. I'm on the latest version win 10. The install windows pops up with an error about not being able to read the application window. The application window is empty and does not have a name, so it's a bug in the installer.
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 That's odd. For me it was a pretty ornate install window that played music in the background. Most don't even require "installing" they just unarchive to directories...

cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 I'm using 7zip, which has proven to open just about any archive properly... and it's FREEhttps://www.7-zip.org/download.html 1
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 I have them all installed with no issues...
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 Here's what I did to get them installed After download, using 7zip, right click on the download and select "7zip" then "Extract files to "folder name" and extract. Once extracted, go to the folder, select "Setup.exe" Once it starts, and RVA Productions Logo will pop up, and it will play music, and then the install dialog will pop up. (You can opt to turn the music OFF during install with a button on the bottom left) Either accept or change the install path ( I changed to my sample drive) then deselect all the other install options ( Visual C++ Libraries, etc..) Click install. The problems also might have to do with your video resolution, or drivers, as to why they are showing up as "empty boxes", but I have no idea, as I didn't have that problem!

If you say it's 'ok' I think I'll pass on this one. I've got enough 'ok' stuff on my computer to last several lifetimes. Thanks for sharing.
cclarry 13,571 Posted January 11 Ok...after going through these, the non-bundled ones are pretty good, especially Ancient Colors of Punjab, and the other Indian libraries...so, for free, I'm not going to complain. They are indeed usable.
Fleer 4,196 Posted January 11 Ancient Colors of Punjab? Mmm ... makes me think of the spicy food I ate in Kolkata.
