Bapu 2,450 Posted December 30, 2020 I'm going to commit new purchases to a $50/month limit (unused rollover allowed). That of course does not include upgrades. They will be limited to $150/month with no unused rollover. 3 2

Matthew Sorrels 1,446 Posted December 30, 2020 A few years ago I decided to fast from buying Music products for one whole month, a Feb or March (so after the holiday rush). I made it through the month, but then ended up spending far more the next month catching up with sales that were still in effect/etc. I think it would be better for me to focus on really using the things I buy. Or even better, using the things I've already bought. 2 3

53mph 231 Posted December 30, 2020 I'm going to try demo versions before committing to registering licenses. This year I got the Acoustica bundle on Humble Bundle with Pianissimo included. I went ahead and installed everything before checking the small print only to find out later that you can't transfer the license. I have about 20 better pianos than theirs, but I can't even give it away now. Same with all the Magix stuff. I accidentally registered two Studio licenses by magix and I can't de-license them. I'm good at throwing my money away. 3
