Here is another song I am working on.
This was recorded live at gig..  I couldn't engineer it as I was singing 🙂

MARRIED MAN BLUES

.
I’m in the dog house again lately
Nothin I can do is right.
I’m in the dog house again lately
Aint nothin I do is right.
Don’t want this way of livin.
I don’t wanna fight.

Aint no way I can do this.
no way on my own
Aint no way I can get through this
I’m sick of feeling alone.
Back into the dog house baby
To give that dog a bone.

Howling...  with jam.

Looks like I’m sleeping on the sofa again tonight.
I got those married man blues.
looks like I’m sleeping on the sofa again tonight.
I got those man married blues.
Been quite a while baby.
Thinking of putting on my walking shoes.

Jam...

I am blinded by darkness
I just can’t see the light
I’m blinded by the darkness
Looks like no hope in sight
Feels like I’m constantly living the hymn
Fight the Good Fight.

Today you gave me a little kiss baby
you made smile.
Today you gave me a little kiss
You know it’s been quite a while.
This taking each other for granted
Is going out of style.

Feel this cloud is lifting
Don’t want these married man blues
Yes I feel this cloud is liftin
No more married man blues
Its hanging by a thread Lord We need your GOOD NEWS.

Hold on to what you have
Can disappear in the blink of an eye
Stop feeling sorry for yourself
There aint no truth in damn that lie.
Married man BLues..
Im goona kiss your ass Goodbye.
Married man BLues..
Im goona kiss your ass Goodbye.

Ha! ---- Good one!!  You have captured the Chicago style in this number.  Nice harp playing in this number, the instrumentation pushes the song right along -- and --- your vocal gives feeling to the lyrics and creates some entertainment also.  I felt like I was at the gig diggin' the Blues and drinking a cold one.  The topic is one I can identify with having done a Bluesy number some where down the list of my SoundClick site songs called "In the Doghouse Again".

Coooool!!!

Thanks for listening @SPAK
I agree its very thin and also the  members of the band are insecure...  first time really doing the song live.
The guitarist (who also playes the hamonica) gets severe stage fright..
The only way to over come this is exposure and going out and doing things.
The band rely heavily on me a s a front man..   I dont get any nerves.  🙂

The Rhode is a Nord C2D

@freddy j thanks for taking the time to listen,
I will check out your song too.

I remember being on stage as the singer ( like you ) and being up front, but I found that easier than, say, playing guitar and I take nothing away from the sheer guts it takes to play guitar/drums. Anyway as 'front' man it's your job to keep the audience in tune ( no pun ) with the band ...so all the best .

As regards to the C2D that's  a serious bit of kit !! lucky sod!
