Ubisoft is doing a new give away every day from Dec 14 to Dec 18, you do need to register/have an account.

https://ubi.li/happyholidays

Today's freebie is a free PC copy of Starlink today: Battle for Atlas™ Digital Edition
on Ubisoft Connect PC when you register

Clock turns over at 2 PM CET (which I think is 8am Eastern)

Ubisoft's giveaway has ended.  Epic's giveaway has just started.
https://www.epicgames.com

See this post for leaked list of games, so far it's been accurate.

Is it just me that looks at all of those titles and thinks that they were all made up by just throwing random words together?

the long dark is free on epic today, can recommend

That is a good one, I picked it up on Epic but have played it and glad to have it here for free.  I also enjoy tower defense so Defense Grid: The Awakening is recommended but I do already have that one.  I have many from the leaked list (which appears accurate so far so that bodes well for the rest of the list) but I'll pick them up on EGS regardless.

I didn't know about the Ubisoft ones so thanks for those.

I also don't have a ton of time for games but I do like to take a breather to play them when I can so these are great to have in the backlog.  I think that's why I like tower defense games.  Can typically pick that type of game up for a short time to get a nice brain break, without committing to a huge gaming session.
