Only your account could tell you that...I've never gone that way...

Touch DAW, for $4.99 will control just about ANY DAW, and that's probably what I'm going to get...just for universal compatability try the Avid controller app, it's free - much better than the Steinberg One....a few things not quite 100% but works pretty well also seems to work on lots of tablets including the Amazon Fire Edited November 14, 2020 by simon

I'm looking for Universal Compatibility... So I can have "One Ring To Rule Them All"!!!

cclarry 13,227 Posted November 14, 2020 It was tricky...but I got Touch DAW to work with Cakewalk...so that makes me happy... the rest should be a piece of CAKE(walk) from here! There is a separate utility that you have to install called rtpMIDI that makes it work...pretty slick too! (see what I did there? 🤪)
cclarry 13,227 Posted November 14, 2020 Studio One Remote was INSTANT....nothing to configure or do...just load and go... THAT is the way it REALLY should be!
cclarry 13,227 Posted November 14, 2020 Ohhh....looks like Avid Control WILL work with other DAW's...and it's FREE.... Glad I didn't jump the gun on Touch DAW....will see how well it works first!

cclarry 13,227 Posted November 14, 2020 (edited) I guess that's the advantage to using Touch DAW, is that you can "pick" which host you are using and it does the rest... Cakewalk is only one that requires "configuration"... I just installed Avid Control, and it gives the link to download the Eucon Software! Cookie Jarvis 80 Posted November 15, 2020 Avid Control Rocks! I haven't "touched" TouchDAW since installing Control. Just follow the instructions on the Avid site Bill P.S. Cubase 11 Pro runs really good on my Windows 7 machine!
Cookie Jarvis 80 Posted November 15, 2020 By the way, Zo...you're doing it backwards, do it Larry's way...buy the .5 updates at the lower price and install after the .0 update comes out for free Bill
