The problem with acoustic basses is that there are so many of them that are very good, and a lot of them are relatively inexpensive, like OTS's Core Bass, Modwheel's The Lowdown, and Fluffy Audio's Simple Jazz Bass. And with BF coming up, a lot of the $100 basses are going to be discounted, like my beloved ujam Mellow, and ArtVista Back Beat. Then there's the next tier, like Amplesound, Premier Sound, etc. I would be interested in this, but I'm more than happy with Mellow and The Lowdown.
