jono grant 38 Posted October 17, 2020 (edited) Hi, I asked this before but didn't get an answer. Each time I render a track within Cakewalk, like bounce to clips or render a soft synth..as it renders I see a message saying "resampling" Why is Cakewalk resampling on a render within the same file? I see it all the time. First I see the "mixing down" then it says "sample rate conversion" in the window with the progress meter. Like two very fast and separate processes. Please, if anyone has a clue, let me know. Cheers Edited October 17, 2020 by jono grant typo

Is it suggested to have plugins and synths set to up-sample? I do have the odd 32 bit plugin floating around J
Starship Krupa 1,443 Posted October 22, 2020 I have either never seen this or never noticed it. but I have one idea: in Preferences/Audio Data, do you have your Record Bit Depth and Render Bit Depth set to different numbers?
