Feature request: audio effect rack

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

It would be useful to be able to add an effects rack similar to ableton live, so that the effects are applied in parallel and those effects can be an effect chain or more effects rack.

All tracks have an "effect rack", which is the fx´s bin.

To do parallel processing, make a send (pre or post facer) to an aux track or to a bus.

Or use plugins with wet/dry control.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is if you wanted to do multiple processing in parallel: the process becomes cumbersome and it would be more convenient to have everything within the effects chain.

Short-term, BlueCat's patchbay.

Yeah, but a built-in Cakewalk's solution would be much better,

For parallel processing in Cakewalk use sends from as many tracks as you like to as many aux tracks/busses as you like. Each aux track/bus has an FX rack and ProChannel strip.
