Integration between BandLab and Cakewalk - getting a Codec error when trying to load stems

jason

Question

Hi there

I'm on Windows 10.

I'm running a bunch of Projects in Bandlab and want to integrate them with Cakewalk so I can do some more advanced editing/mixing in Cakewalk.

I'm following these instructions: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022218453-Integration-between-BandLab-and-Cakewalk-

However, the stems, when downloaded via Bandlab Assistant, won't load in Cakewalk and I'm getting an Unrecognised Codec message for the WAV files.  But if I download the stems from within the Bandlab project, they play fine. They appear to be the same WAV filenames as those downloaded via BandLab Assistant.  So there appears to be a different codec used between the two.

What is the difference in the codec used on the WAV stems I access by downloading them from within the Bandlab project, and the WAV stems downloaded via Bandlab Assistant?

Can you please point me in the direction of the codec used for the WAV files downloaded via Bandlab Assisitant?

Thanks for answers and ah yes!  i can see they're all only 1kb.

Will try to download again from Bandlab Assistance as the .blx file it generates looks like contains a lot of useful meta content about each audio file.

If a second attempt still yields zero-length files, do you have any suggestions?
