Freddy Vasquez 1 Posted August 30, 2020 (edited) When I'm using BandLab online (web version) I can use some good quality virtual instruments (see screenshots): Can I use these instruments on desktop Cakewalk software? Are these instruments available for Cakewalk? I could not find them (see screenshots): Cakewalk has several virtual instruments included, but they are not the online available BandLab instruments. Where can I find them? Where can I download them to use in Cakewalk? Please help me... I want those pianos and strings for my Cakewalk. Thank! Nigel Mackay 232 Posted August 30, 2020 You can't. If you could they would be there already. Have a look at VST4Free for free instruments. Also at this thread. This thread is for free FX.
abacab 1,823 Posted August 30, 2020 BandLab online and Cakewalk By BandLab are still two different products. It remains to be seen what integration, especially regarding instruments, will follow...

Freyja Grimaude-Valens 265 Posted October 1, 2020 If you need the sounds from Bandlab's virtual instruments, you could always create stems from the app, download them and then import the sound clips into your DAW. Alternatively, you could do the perfect 4th method to sample notes from the upper to lower ranges of the instrument, and then chop up the resultant sample file into a free sampler like Grace or TX16Wx.
