Does anyone in the Piano Roll have a "Expression" or "Mod" line that racks or slows down and is drawn seconds after the mouse has passed?

Question

Does anyone in the Piano Roll have a "Expression" or "Mod" line that racks or slows down and is drawn seconds after the mouse has passed? And is there a way to solve this?

For example, when I draw the violin's "expression," the graph follows very slowly where my mouse passed by.

Who has a solution?

A couple of observations:

1. When drawing controllers in the PRV, the number of controller events generated is related to your snap resolution.  The higher the resolution, the more events will be generated, and this WILL slow things down due to the sheer number of events generated.  Consider using a lower resolution (e.g. 1/64 or 1/32 notes  or less) so that less events are generated.

2. Rather than drawing controller events, consider using the inline PRV + automation lanes for your controller events. This is a far more efficient method of both drawing and rendering controllers.

That controller data looks pretty dense (Many controller events packed in a small time frame).

You might want to run the CAL script "Thin Controller Data.cal" on those controller events.

Select your controller events - CTRL+ F1......  will bring take you to your CAL folder where you should find this CAL script.

Also, which version of Cakewalk by Bandlab are you running?
