Afolayan Dammy Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) Hello, I am new to DAWs generally. I was using FL Studio but I hated the Channel Rack/Pattern work flow. Wanted something more simple but still powerful so I moved to CakeWalk and I was liking it. Not until I started practising I was practising composing with Scaler 2 and Spitfire audio in Cakewalk and had saved my project to continue another time. Now my Cakewalk hangs at "Opening Project, Loading Synth Scaler 2". If I start a new Cakewalk fresh project, it opens but has refused to open my previously saved project that I want to continue since yesterday for reasons known to it. It is almost like Scaler 2 is what has hanged it completely because that is where it stops loading. And the project is really important to me. scook Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 See if the project loads in safe mode. To do this, hold down the SHIFT key while opening the project. This will give you an opportunity to skip loading plug-ins. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
