Headphone output not working

I am new to Cakewalk but have found it fairly intuitive however today I find that my audio goes to my laptop speakers even when my phones are plugged in, wasn't like that yesterday and the only thing I have done is plug in my interface for the first time via USB but since unplugged it. Checked the audio settings in my laptop and they are good tried un and re installing with no avail and Cakewalk seems to be the only thing affected. Any ideas?

I would suggest using only your USB interface when using Cakewalk and disabling your internal sound card when doing so.  As for your headphones vs speakers, that sounds like an issue with your PC's sound card, but I have no solution for that if your settings are all correct.
