I am sorry for the probably "naive" question, I am a beginner.

Is Babylon compatible with Cakewalk by Bandalb? I read in the requirememts that it is necessary to have ProTools, hence my question.

I would like to know if Babylon can be used as a regular vst plugin synth within Cakewalk...

Thank you for the help!

Yes it's compatible with CbB....it comes in VST, VST3, and AAX formats

As a beginner you should know these plugin format acronyms

VST = Virtual Studio Technology - used for Windows based DAW Plugins (Cakewalk, Studio One, Cubase, etc...)
VST3 is the lastest version of the VST format, and the same applies for it as for VST - (Note:  Some DAW's may not be VST3 compliant yet)
AAX  is the current proprietary plugin format used by Pro Tools
AU = Audio Units - also a Pro Tools format
RTAS = Real Time Audio Suite = Also an old Pro Tools Format
LV2 = A format used by Harrison Mixbus

Hope that helps
