Help Using Maschine MK3 in CbB using Midi Mode - RESOLVED

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

So, I have been using Maschine and the Maschine Mikro MK3 (MMK3) for a while now and I love using this combination.

Now, I would like to actually use the MMK3 along with Maschine as a plugin inside of CbB , however, when I place the MMK3 in midi mode while Maschine is a plugin in CbB, I cannot generate sound when I tap the MMK3 pads.

I am hoping there are some folks here who use Maschine 2.x ,the Maschine Hardware along with CbB and have made this work for them.

Please look at this video to see what I am trying to accomplish, however, keep in mind that his is Logic and I want to achieve this in CbB.

As I attempted  to place the MMK3 into midi mode again, I accidentally hit one of the pads and I was able to hear the Kick Drum .  I then set each drum kit piece to and ext in Maschine and then I assigned it to a channel in CbB.

There is no need to use midi mode with the MMK3 in CbB,

NICE 😎

How did you set the mk3 up in Cakewalk? How to configure cakewalk? Thx - Johan

You open  the software Maschine up as Soft Synth in cakewalk
