KvR thread says it's Synthedit and not some new 64-bit version either, old buggy crashy 32-bit Synthedit.  1 Euro seems a bit high if that's true.

Not sure why this is getting all this press right now...

He's a pretty popular House producer so that helps, I'm sure. High quality marketing stuff he's doing also helps a lot. The website looks fantastic, the promo video looks and sounds great. It will be interesting to see how the plugin stands up to that and if what is being said at KVR is actually true or just speculation.

He confirmed it's 32-bit Windows only:

Hi Guys,

To answer one of the most frequently asked question whether the Genesis is 32 or 64 bit, it's unfortunately 32bit and It's windows only. I know, I would have seen it differently as well. But the project has become so huge and complex over time that it is not easy to port it to 64bit/mac. Having that said it's not impossible and I am checking all the possibilities.

I started this project 8 years ago with my passion for sound, synthesis and with the ambition to share my creation, my knowledge with as many people as possible.
Nonetheless I still hope that the Genesis can help you with your creative process.

it's off my shopping list too - but let's not judge too harshly - it's only 1 euro and he's been totally honest and up front about it all (IMO)

Hmmmm, well maybe eventually he was, but I'm thinking that the asking price may have a little less to do with benevolence than he makes out.
