I have brought this up a few times but Cakewalk is such a great DAW, I am surprised there hasn't been a state of the art meter added years ago. Any DAW that is used for Mix-down and Mastering processes surely needs a large format meter that can be seen large enough to make accurate, precise measurement readings. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Jim Fogle 730 Posted January 5, 2020 My personal choice would be to have a collection of four or eight meters in a module with the possibility of adding more than one module. In the track view they could be used for gain staging and in the console view across track, buss or main outputs. On a different note, wouldn't it be neat to have a meter bridge inline between your computer audio out port and your audio interface or audio mains input? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
