  1. Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that will allow the user to make the playhead stationary when playing the track instead of the waveforms moving. This would be very helpful in monitoring tracks. Thanks.
  2. Hi, it would be perfect if: 1. there would be a visual differentiation of Offset and Envelope modes by color of UI - faders or faders tracks, current differentiation by + signs is easy to overlook. 2. there would be an option to choose default mode - Offset or Envelope Thank you

  4. I'm looking for a replacement for my mouse and the RollerMouse looks interesting. It's totally different than a mouse and keeps both hands on the keyboard; and it has 7 fully configurable and easily accessible buttons. It's also expensive. So finding satisfied users who use it the way I will can make it easier for me to make the move. My biggest issue is with the mouse's left-click button, particularly for click-and-drag. What I'm dragging often drops or my click becomes a double-click while I'm holding the button down. Also I have various types of risk and hand pains that are aggravated by mouse use.
  5. Hello guys. I just recently finished making my own theme for my projects. I would like to share this because someone asked if I could post it, if I will make one. The base UI for this theme is from the FLAT_WHITE theme. Thanks to @Colin Nicholls for making it. @chris.r Not completely inspected for overlooked color assignments. There are some few drawbacks for the colors selected but I believe this works for my workflow. Merry Christmas everyone. 6. Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to filter groups/folders in track view mode using an outliner. I am aware that there is a similar feature available in the console view but it would also be nice to have it in the track view. The inspector panel would be very useful to place the outliner/filter, make it more easily accessible to quickly filter any folders that are not needed in some cases. Here is a mockup for the track view filter/outliner(Left panel): 1.) User enable GUITARS group & KEYS group : Only the guitars and keys folder groups would be displayed in the track view. 2.) Guitars only Thanks Cakewalk Dev Team.
  7. Hello guys. I would like to propose an optional feature that would allow users to make use of the extra space from the track view, utilizing it to give more space for the FX rack. This could be very useful in cases where the user prefers a more compact view in the screen without losing the FX rack view. CURRENTLY: This is how the fx rack is dispayed with compact view. Only 1 plugin is visible. PROPOSAL: This is a rough mockup on the fx rack making use of the extra space as an optional feature. Thanks Cakewalk Dev Team.
  8. Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to filter what functionalities/actions should be affected by the undo feature in cakewalk. This could be helpful on specific workflows that might require some of the undo features functionality; like a quick undo inside the console view or the browser tab. Thanks.
  9. Hello guys. I would like to ask if there is a way to keep the maximized EQ panel for cakewalk pinned while selecting multiple tracks? Currently when you select a different track the maximized eq panel gets closed. It would be nice to have the option to keep it open while it automatically changes the eq corresponding to the currently selected track. Thanks.
  10. Hello guys. This is my final version for the dark theme. I tried to recreate a darker theme but the combinations tend to become complicated especially when the theme editor has still some limitations when it comes to editability of some elements. The main changes made in this theme is the values of the strips are more darker and also works better with plain strips. AFUI DARK 3.1 Theme.sth

  12. Hello guys. I would like to propose a lock toggle feature that would allow users to zoom out the track view X axis & Y axis at the same time. Currently I bleieve you can only zoom out axis separately through hotkeys or buttons. This would be helpful in cases where users would like to have a better control zooming in or zooming out inside the track view UI. Thanks.
  13. Hello. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to choose an option to make the mouse click respond to Mouse press instead of mouse release for click minimize/maximize track strip button. (Optional feature for faster program response) Thanks.
  14. Hi I was wondering how come my username doesn’t show up when searches in the explore feed only shows up under bands not user?
  15. We can see these days how Studio One is menacing Pro Tools with stealing its "industry standard" title. I spent very little time trying Studio One, but I'm sure one of the best features it has is the easyness and flexibility of its user interface, mostly in its track view. I'm not talking about its dark background with fluorescent colors which I sincerely don't like it so much, but the capacity that it has to mix a project even minimizing all tracks to tinny color lines. We are also testifying how the latest versions of Cubase, Logic, Tracktion and even Acid are "getting inspired" by that Studio One user interface. After 9 years of Skylight, do you think Cakewalk should stop looking at Pro Tools as the UI reference, and start to look at the Studio One simplicity? My personal opinion is no, but at the same time I think Cakewalk GUI needs a drastical reduction of lots of "death" spaces (for instance, the windows borders are excessively wide). This is not for estetical matters, but because it is almost imposible to work confortable with Cakewalk in a 14" screen laptop. Thanks for your opinions::.
