  1. Why is there a Track Manager if it does not include some key, no-brainer features? a) Allow a user to quickly modify track order. Ideally by click on a track and dragging it like can be done in the Track View OR by simply changing the track # and automatically moving down the track that was at the track # selected - Yes, I'm aware I can click and drag a track up or down in the track view, but that's not efficient, especially when the project flow is a lot of tracks. b) How about letting a user click on multiple tracks and desiginate them as a group, let the user choose the track # for the 1st one selected, and then putting the remaining tracks selected in the track locations below the 1st track selected? Therefore, they are not just a group, but are physically located together.
  2. Hellow, this would be nice to have> when I hit H key, track manager opens and it is organized the way the tracks and track folders are organized in track view, including the open / closed state. It would be nice if the same would go in the opsite way. When I open / close some track folders in the track manager and close it, the tracks would be organized accordingly in the track view. Thank you
  3. It would be nice if that were listed in the Console view...
  4. Has anyone else had this problem?? I was having some problems with crashes after installing Windows Update 1903, but it seemed to be resolved after reinstalling my audio interface drivers (Apollo Thunderbolt). Today I was finishing up a painful mix and was having issues with computer resources. I had recently decided to try Studio One and, after closing out Cakewalk I installed SO. When I went back to Cakewalk almost every audio track in my current project was not sounding. After some investigation I noticed that, although nothing was solo'd or muted in the mix or edit windows, the track manager showed everything that wasn't archived as muted and there was no way to remove the mutes. I tried hiding and unhiding, and everything thing else I could think of to trick the tracks back into active states. And it wasn't just this one project. Several others had the same situation. I finally found one about a week old that was viable and I'll have to try and remember all the steps I took since then. I think I'm pretty much over Cakewalk and ready to try out Studio One or Logic. Not gonna pay a bunch more to Avid for their weird, costly and clunky "industry standard".
